ABOUT US
Zawadi Memorial Health Training Institute was established in 2018 in honor of the son and only child of the founder, Ms Valeria Dominic Mrema in the good will to educate qualified health experts who will help specific under-privileged groups (i.e. women, elders and children) in the rural areas to facilitate access and provide the equal opportunity to lead a healthy life regardless of their race, gender, education, sexual orientation, or economic background. The Institute has partnered with the Mawenzi Hospital which serves as the teaching hospital for the enrolled Zawadi Memorial Training Institute students. Practical trainings will be also carried out at Mawenzi Hospital, and Nganjoni Clinic, through field studies to give students required knowledge, exposure and the hands-on experience in their training. The Zawadi Memorial Health Training Institute believes everyone is entitled to an accessible health care. It is our priority to create a health system that benefits all the citizens. Our main aim are highly educated and trained medical nurses and midwives who will be ready to start a job directly after graduation. Our mission is to address the ongoing shortage of qualified nurses and midwives across the country by educating competent, knowledgeable and skilled health experts who will be committed to provide health services in expected professionalism and in line with the ethical standards. Our Competence
